Repeat Combinations Fluidly

Drilling specific sequences of techniques repeatedly develops critical neural pathways for execution without hesitation. You can perform your best combinations on demand with enough quality reps without draining your gas tank.

Practice punch/kick series tirelessly until they become second nature. The training room is where techniques become ingrained. When the bell rings, you should be able to channel combinations fluidly like a well-oiled machine.

Stay adaptable to modify your approach as needed. But your foundation must consist of go-to combinations rehearsed until they flow freely on command. There are no shortcuts to drilling.

Head Movement Drills

Dodging strikes relies partly on proper footwork but also the ability to slip and weave your head. A simple way to practice this is visualizing a doorway frame as you circle around it. Use the stationary frame as a marker for faking and feinting head movements.
