Muay Thai is a centuries-old martial art that originated in Thailand. Since then, it has gained popularity all over the world as both a sport and a form of self-defense. Muay Thai is often referred to as “the art of eight limbs” because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows, and knees. Muay Thai training can be an excellent way to get in shape, learn self-defense, and even compete in Muay Thai tournaments. Muay Thai training typically includes a variety of exercises such as shadowboxing, punching bags, and pad work.
