Apex MMA is hosting UFC middleweight Cam Rowston for a special two-hour MMA seminar in Brookvale.
Fresh off his UFC 325 victory and riding a six-fight win streak, Cam brings a proven MMA skill set shaped by high-level competition and training out of City Kickboxing. This seminar is focused on techniques that transfer directly to MMA rounds and what it takes to win in the UFC.

The seminar is split into two structured sessions:
Hour 1: MMA Striking
Striking built for MMA. Distance management, entries, pressure and combinations that account for takedowns, clinch and cage awareness.
Hour 2: MMA Grappling
Applied grappling for MMA. Clinch control, takedowns, top pressure, ground-and-pound structure and finishing pathways that work with strikes.
This seminar is suitable for MMA practitioners, strikers transitioning to MMA, and grapplers looking to improve carryover to fighting. All experience levels welcome.

ABOUT CAM ROWSTON
Cam Rowston is a 31-year-old UFC middleweight fighter nicknamed “Battle Giraffe.” Standing at 6’3″ with a 78″ reach, he trains at the elite City Kickboxing gym in Auckland, New Zealand, alongside stars like Israel Adesanya. With a professional MMA record of 14-3 and a current six-fight win streak, Rowston excels in striking from his kickboxing background (two-time King in the Ring champion) and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (brown belt). He holds a degree in Sport and Exercise Management and overcame early-life challenges by fighting, and now inspires others with his discipline and humility.
